Synopsis:
Amara Maria Robles is a good girl. So good that she gave up her dreams of becoming a renowned pastry chef to help her parents with their struggling Mexican bakery. Yet her parents reject any changes she suggests, and refuse to sell her mouth-watering confections. Clearly being a good girl isn't paying off. So when her brother's sexy ex-best friend walks into the bakery, Amara's tempted to be very bad indeed...
After a scandal twelve years ago, resident bad boy Eric Valencia has returned to make things right with his family and friends. One glance at Amara and her wicked curves, however, and Eric finds himself thinking about how she’d feel beneath him—something he promised Amara's brother he would never think about, let alone do. But this bad boy is in deep trouble...because Amara's determined to have her cake, and Eric, too.

I had such high hopes for this book but was sadly disappointed. The blurb to this had me drooling but I must say the book didn't. Amara started out as a weak character for me. She won't stand up to her parents and show them that she can handle running the bakery. When she does finally stand up to them, they shoot her down. She is defeated yet again. I did love how Eric kept pushing her to live her own life and do what she wants to do. It took an outsider to push them to see how good Amara is. Eric, was a bad boy growing up, getting in trouble a lot. He finally moved to Vegas to make something of his life. When that failed and grandma got sick, he went back home. Let's just say the town isn't welcoming to him. Amara's parents along with her brother aren't thrilled they are hanging out but decide to give him a chance. There's a lot should we or shouldn't we get together which drove me crazy. Finally they figured it out. Eric doesn't have the greatest attitude about relationships, he rather leave 'em than love 'em. Like I said before this book disappointed me.
