Everything you've heard or seen about Hard Corps, throw it out the window. ANYTHING you've seen or heard truly can't do this book justice. Grab your comfy chair an settle in for a nice long read. 

If your a fan of Scott Hildreth's, the first thing to know is this book is unlike any other. And even though it's not full on MC or littered with dirty sex scenes, it by far is my favorite book he's written.

Alec Jacob aka A-Train, is the most complex and alluring of all the characters so far. His story is such a mixed bag. I felt pride for the man he is, sad for what he'd been through and amazed at how he handles it all and through everything, when any other man would give up, he maintains his faith and goals, his ability to cope and still be the virtuous man that he is is astounding.

Each new obstacle put before him he overcame with grace, faith and and unyielding will to move ahead. 

He's loyal, fights for what he believes, protects those he loves and the innocent. 

He's been through some horrific battles but came out stronger and never forgot who he was or what his goals were. 

The author pulls you into Alec's world, enchanting the reader and completely overtaking your mind until the very last page. I could not put this book down, I hated stopping to answer the door.

 If I continue to write I'm sure I'll give something away and I despise spoilers so I'll say Hard Corps is the one Hildreth book you must read if you haven't read him before, if you have  then your in for a different kind of ride but in my opinion an much more captivating than any of his books I've had the privilege to read. 

Born in San Diego California, Scott now calls Wichita, Kansas home. Residing in Kansas with his wife, Jessica, and six children, he somehow finds twelve hours a day to work on his writing.

Addicted to riding his Harley-Davidson, tattoos, and drinking coffee, Scott can generally be found in a tattoo shop, on his Harley, or in a local coffee house when not writing.
