Hooked on the prologue I went into this book expecting something unique and I got it.
Alecia's parents are murdered when shes 18yrs old. She's called home from college to find police surrounding her house.
She spends the next year grieving, doesn't return to school and basically isolates herself.
The one year anniversary of their death she decides it's time to live again, she takes flowers to her parents grave and comes home to an unmarked envelope on her doorstep.
Inside she finds an ally, someone who wants to help her get revenge for her parents deaths.
The envelopes continue to come while she works with an old friend of her parents setting a plan in motion to exact vengeance upon everyone responsible for their deaths.
As all the pieces fall into place Alecia is finally ready to infiltrate the MC club house, as a club whore named Ella.
Yea you knew it was coming, just reading the synopsis you knew this is where we were headed!
Her first lay as a club whore is Taser. We don't get much of a physical description of him, other than his size, I assume he's the better looking of the 9 members based upon descriptions of the other members, and though she sleeps with each member, other than the president she keeps returning to Taser, and he to her. An obvious attachment forming for him, for her it's more of him being the one shes most comfortable with. The first time Taser refers to her as his girl I put two & two together, no spoilers but once you read it you'll know what I'm talking about!
After gaining the trust of everyone in the club she puts her final plans in place, the night of the prez's birthday she starts taking them out.
“That the only taste of my pu**y you’ll ever get.”
”You’re a sadistic b***h.”
“If I was sadistic b***h, I’d be shoving barbed wire down the eye of your dick right about now. And, I’d be laughing right about now.”
My favorite conversation in the whole book!!
Vengeance is Mine was a different kind of MC story, I'm addicted to them so ofcourse I wanted to read it, an though it's not your typical MC book it was quite enjoyable! There were some aspects I'd have like to have had more detail about but it didn't slow the story down. This is my first book by Millstead and I'm looking forward to more.
