But there’s something I have to do before this goes any further.
Slowly, I draw my head away from her embrace, finding the courage to finally meet her eyes. Her hair hasn’t been combed and her face is all tear-stained, but she has never looked more beautiful.
She stands, bracing herself against me. Her breath hitches when I gently start unbuttoning her shirt, but her eyes never leave my face. I stop partway up, raising the bottom half of her cami up and over her baby bump. Dropping down, I run my hands across her stomach, feeling her shiver against my fingertips. Looking up at her, I place my lips on her bellybutton, kissing the child that’s growing within her, the miracle we created.
“I will never ask you to choose again,” I say solemnly, my voice nothing but a whisper.
Ivy starts to cry in earnest, placing her hands atop mine.
“You are my heart now. Whatever happens to you happens to me.” I kiss each one of her knuckles as she sighs deeply, like she’s been longing with all her soul to hear me say these words. “I know I’m not as brave as you are, but I promise to try harder.”
“Eric, stop. You’re the bravest man I know,” she proclaims with a tender fierceness, tears shining in her eyes.
“I’m just so afraid of losing you,” I mutter, breaking down.
“Oh, Eric,” she whimpers, sobbing right along with me. “I know, baby... I know.”
I lean back against the wall, guiding her onto my lap. We don’t say anything more. We just sit there and hold each other, savoring the moment.

My name is Kirsty. I was born in Hertfordshire, England. In 2000 I moved to Norfolk, it was there that I met my husband, Lee. Now, what can I say about Lee, apart from everyone should have one? He's my biggest supporter, and I wouldn't be where I am today without his encouragement and endless support. He is my inspiration behind most of my male leads, I always try to bring a little of him in somewhere, be it his kindness, selflessness, or just his ability to make me feel treasured.
In 2005, I was gifted with the birth of my son. He is, and always will be, the best thing I have ever done in my life. As you can probably tell, I'm a very proud mummy. I have always been interested in writing, but after the birth of my son I accidentally came across an amateur writing site. After a couple of months of just reading on there, I finally plucked up the courage and posted one of my stories. I was shocked and overwhelmed by the support of readers on there and they gave me the confidence to get where I am today. In April 2012, I self-published my first novel ‘The Boy Who Sneaks in my Bedroom Window’. And in October 2012 I took the plunge again, publishing my second novel, 'Always You.' Lastly, if I had to sum myself up in one word, it would probably be ‘daydreamer’ – but unlike most of my school teachers, I don’t necessarily view that as a bad thing. After all, I read somewhere once that books are like waking dreams….

My Review:
I give this book 4.5 stars.
Melissa has everything she could want, a good friends, a loving fiancee and a baby on the way. If she could get rid of the nightmares and she an Derek could decide where to live her life would be perfect.
Derek has a beautiful fiancee who's going to have his baby. He's happy, it seems the biggest problem is his life is their long distance relationship.
Until the body of former call girl shows up. And that call girl bears quite the resemblance to Melissa. And the only person it could be is Sloan, Melissa's
Derek is in the security business, he has the connections to keep Melissa safe, his friend Patrick is watching over her closely, while trying to keep the extent of the possible danger to her a secret.
Derek and Patrick work to find a way to stop the untouchable Sloan once and for all.
I probably went through the full range of emotions with this book, I loved it and hated aspects of it at the same time! It's not one of the cookie cutter stories where you know whats going to happen next, it's brilliant, well written with characters you can love.
