Alluring Seduction

Skye Turner

The second book in the Bayou Stix series is freaking hot!

Synopsis

Jessie Adams is a womanizing, lead guitarist for the hottest rock band in the country, Bayou Stix. Seduction is his game. He does what he wants, when he wants. Women are playthings, but eventually meaningless sex with groupie after groupie gets old.

Blue Delaney has spent years working nonstop and cultivating her way to being the hottest reporter for Rock Hard Magazine. She's confident, sexy and has no time for games. Jessie loves women and women love him, but something about Blue gets under his skin. She's not what he's used to.

Blue loves Bayou Stix and is friends with the guys, but something about Jessie pushes her buttons. It doesn’t stop her from wanting him.

When Blue is forced to go on tour with Bayou Stix and cover the band, tensions run high, chemistry is explosive, and Blue and Jessie begin to see each other in a new light.
Their attraction is obvious to everyone but them. But in the end… the question is who’s seducing whom and is chemistry enough to sustain a relationship?
Can this fierce woman tame this bad boy rocker? Does she want to?

My Review

Oh my gosh I want Jessie Adams!!!

Jessie as a sex God, he's got it all, tats, piercings, shaggy hair, bad boy attitude and a rather impressive package. How could you go wrong with that?

Jessie & Blue in a word are HOT! Off the freaking charts hot, their chemistry is astounding. These two are my new favorite couple hands down.

I adored Alluring Turmoil but boy did this one kick the heat factor up to unbelievable proportions.

Blue has despised Jessie for 8 years, or so he believes. Always yelling at him, smart comments, when honestly shes wanted him for 8 years and can't come to terms with falling for a man whore rock star. She's watched skank after skank paraded in and out of his hotel rooms, an wanted to beat them all to death.

Jessie has no clue why Blue hates him, it just seems she always has so he retaliates with smart mouth comments and yelling at her.

A little time alone in a broke down elevator causes them both to question what the problem is between them.

Lots and lots and LOTS of panty melting hot sex later they figure out what caused Blue to despise Jessie so much.

I can't rave enough about this book, I mean the first one was great, amazing, but this one is off the charts, Skye Turner has completely outdone herself with this book, I can't wait to see what she cooks up for the next one.

Release Day

Fierce by Clarissa Wild

Synopsis

Fight for your dreams. Fight for your life. Fight for love.

Nerdy girl Autumn Blakewood is the prime example of a goody two-shoes. She studies every night, is never late for class, and always follows the rules. She has never felt the need to step out of her comfort zone. That is, until she meets Hunter.

Hunter Bane is a cocky, confident bad-boy, who's nothing but trouble. He’s a dangerous distraction to everyone around him. Sexy and strong, Hunter enjoys the swooning effect he has on women. Especially those who aren't used to attention, like Autumn.

Autumn finds it hard not to give into Hunter’s advances, even though it all seems like a game to him. Trying to understand him is impossible, because he shrouds himself in mystery.

What she doesn't know is that Hunter has more baggage than anyone should have to carry. When she discovers he's in an illegal frat club to save the one person that matters to him, Autumn realizes this could mean the end of her undeniable connection to him. Even their lives are at risk.

But it's too late to turn back now ...

My Review

Autumn, a nerd with 2 friends. One of which is going to be her roommate, steps off the bus onto her college campus.

Immediately she's nailed by a leaf blower covering her in leaves, and of course an extremely hot guy witnessed the event.

The opening tells me I'm going to adore this book!!

Autumn is shy, keeps to herself and has never had a boyfriend, but something about the tough, flirty, overly hot and troubled neighbor draws her.

Hunter is out of this world hot, and yes I did drool over the cover occasionally throughout this book. He's a tough guy on the outside but he has his reasons for what he does, including trying to push Autumn away by showing her the harsher side of him.

I don't want to give away anything because I hate spoilers in a review, this is a great story, I couldn't predict the ending but I did hope for something similar to how it ended up.

This is my first Clarissa Wild read but it won't be my last. Read this book, you won't be disappointed!

The Touch Series from T.H. Snyder
brings you the next in the series

Synopsis

Lately Emma McIntyre has been pretending to live the life of a perfect wife while her husband Keith takes control over her family business. With the loss of her parents to a tragic car accident and a fight that causes her brother, Riley, to move out of state Emma chooses to stand by her husband.

While sorting out her parent’s estate, Emma stumbles across a few hidden secrets that she suspects Keith has kept her from. Heartbroken Emma turns to her brother for support, hoping to also rekindle their own broken relationship. During a visit to Boston Emma finds herself reacting to a complete stranger when he is willing to comfort her and listen to her pain.

Is Emma ready to move on with her life and leave the hurt of her failing marriage behind? Will Emma fight the urge to fall once she has been Touched by Another?

My Review

Touched by Another is amazing, it's a tie now between the first an third book as to which I love the most.

I was thrilled to get to Emma's story, it's a very emotional tale, I'm sure everyone who reads it can connect with her emotionally at one point or another.

Emma is unbelievably strong, she's suffered so much loss followed by the betrayal of her husband.

“I was living a life where there was no happiness, desperate to find that one person who would make me feel whole again.” - honestly I've been there and I wish I had been as strong as she was in this book!

After reconnecting with her brother Riley she moves to Boston to start her life over near Riley and Char, who have a job waiting for her and a place to stay. Emma's introduced to Derrick and Pete and they all begin to develop friendships. Derrick is her roommate, suffering from a recent split with his girlfriend and Pete is trying to get over his ex as well, they are three peas in a pod and exactly what each other need for support.

I don't do spoilers, I hate them so I don't post them, but this book is a must read, it's honest, emotional and true to life. I love Emma, I didn't think any of the books to compare to Riley & Char but this ones down right close.

Emma's story is truly amazing, I would highly recommend reading this book!

Taut by J.A. Huss

Synopsis
Ford Aston is known for many things. Being an emotionless, messed up bastard, a freakishly smart social outcast, and a cold, domineering master who keeps “pets” instead of girlfriends.
And after Rook broke his heart, he plans to keep it that way.
Ashleigh is known for nothing, and that’s exactly what she’s got going for her. She’s broke, stranded in the mountains with a three month old baby, and Ford Aston is screwing with her head.
Big. Time.
And she plans to mess with his right back.
It’s a coy game at first, filled with flirting, and innuendo–but Ford soon realizes something is not quite right with Ashleigh. In fact, something is seriously, seriously wrong and the closer they get to their final destination, the closer Ford gets to the truth.
One night of devastation, self-loathing, and emptiness turns into the best thing that ever happened to Ford Aston. But one day of in-your-face reality threatens Ashleigh’s whole existence.

My Review
I love Ford. How could you not?
Ford is running from a broken heart.
Ashleigh is doing the same, only running all over hell an half of Georgia with no money and a crappy car that breaks down leaving her and her 3 month old baby stranded in a Denver snowstorm, attempting to sleep in her car.
Ford offers Ashleigh the other bed in his hotel room, which is so not his typical behavior, he’s all about Ford.
Okay these two are not just broken people, they are shattered. Their lives are different, but the reasons for their behavior are similar.
I love that Ford is sort of vulnerable in this one, though you don’t see much of it! He’s still Effing Ford <3
After a week together, him having Ashleigh how he wants her, he realizes there just may be more to life than pets and Rook.
I so want to tell you how this ends but I hate reviews with spoilers!!

Taut kicks ass, there’s so much to this book, you learn everything about these characters, the detail draws you in and you cannot put this book down, everything is so well written and in depth you cannot keep yourself from being drawn in, it’s almost as if your watching a movie, you can literally see everything that your reading, yes, it’s that good. If I hadn't literally passed out last night I would have finished this book around 3 am.
