Review: Gravity

Gravity Gravity by C.M. Seabrook
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book 2 in the Savages and Saints series and though they can be read on their own I highly recommend reading Torment as well, you just can't get enough of the Savage/St James men!!
Gravity is Kade's story. He has a miserable past and instead of dwelling on it he chose to focus solely on his daughter and his bar. No dating, no sleeping around just taking care of what's his. He lives like this for four years before something horrific triggers his need for connection.
She was there for him when he needed her most. The stranger who he hasn't seen in five months but hasn't forgotten.
Sophie is down on her luck and running from a dangerous past. When she's offered help it's hard to take, she knows people don't just help you without wanting something in return. And then she comes face to face with the one person who may be just as broken as her, the man she never expected to see again. Her story is heart breaking, while Kade's is rough her's is more rip your heart out and stomp on it.

Kade and Sophie are both broken, can two people with similar histories ever work through it enough to trust or will it destroy them.
I loved this book, from beginning to end even the hard parts, it just made me love the characters more. The chemistry is palpable, their story is well written and well paced, it doesn't lag and I read this in one sitting, I could not put it down.
