4.5 stars Hallelujah we finally have the followup to one of the most effed up endings ever. When Beat ended my mouth was hanging open with a WTH look on my face. And then came Pulse. Pulse answers all the questions Beat left us asking. Ren & Ash's story is worth the wait. The strength required of both of them to make the choice's they did and to push through side by side, hoping come out of the darkness back into the light was truly amazing to watch unfold. If there were ever two characters meant to be it's Ash & Ren. We get a little more background on some secondary characters as well, leaving me hoping that soon we may see another fighter throw his hat in the ring for a woman. One who's pretty broken at the moment but doesn't want to be. |
