Such a beautiful book! Parker and Liz’s story was so brillant! Liz, has
had a rough childhood.. She lost her parents on her birthday, thrown
into foster care, beaten by her foster parents, had to get three jobs to
support her boyfriend’s college. One of her jobs is being a
waitress/dancer/escort for Belle. She met her best friends there and was
able to finally open her dream bakery. She has been focusing on that
for the past two years along with the hurt of her boyfriend cheating on
her. Soon she meets this gorgeous stranger asking for cake ideas at the
gala. She can’t keep her mind off him. Parker, fell in love after seeing
her drop a cake off at his friends wedding but didn’t talk to her until
the night of the gala. Fate just happens to step in on her birthday and
they are at the same club. Sparks are flying every time they touch!!!
After spending a weekend together, they are attached at the hip and
everything is going very very good but then her past catches up with
her…She tries to keep it from Parker but he soon finds out what is
happening. He is determined to save her life. Parker and Liz’s love
makes you believe in soul mates and if they can overcome what they had
to then so can you. This book shows how important family is whether its
by blood or not. All the characters were so relatable and make you want
to join in with them! p I fell hard for this book! I loved the first
book, so I knew I would love this one too. In all honestly, I loved this
one more!
