SYNOPSIS:
First, he saved me. I lived because he was a hero. And then he was gone. Uprooted by the fire that destroyed our home, my family moved away and I never saw David Andrews again. Then, he found me. Eighteen years later, he rescued me again – in much simpler terms, of course. By loving me, by giving me the fairy tale I’d always hoped for, he provided me with the perfect life. Now, he needs to be saved. It’s my turn to be strong, to be brave, to be valiant. When flames threaten to turn us to ashes, it’s up to me to pull us From the Wreckage.

REVIEW
5 stars
From the Wreckage, I hadn't read this author before but the blurb drew me in and I hoped this story was all it promised.
It was more. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily the book hooked me and I could not put it down. Beware this is a one sitting book, your going to want a few hours of peace and quiet with a few tissues to get from start to finish.
David and Grace met as children when at 10 years old he saved her from a fire.
Fast forward 18 years and their paths cross again.
As they spend time together and get to know each other as adults they realize friendship won't work.
Falling in love was out of their hands, there was no way around it, no way to avoid it. These two people were meant to be.
David was just what Grace needed at just the right time. He healed old insecurities her ex left her with. And in turn David found the one thing he's always wanted, his other half.
And then a tragic accident. Tragic seems to mild a word, these two people's lives were devastated. And now it's Grace's turn to do the saving, if it's possible.

David and Grace are some of my favorite characters, their story is sweet and playful. And then your heart is ripped out, and while your crying your turning the pages praying that things get back to normal.

I'm now a huge fan of Melissa Collins, one great book and I'm hooked.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Melissa Collins has always been a book worm. Studying Literature in college ensured that her nose was always stuck in a book. She followed her passion for reading to the most logical career choice: English teacher. Her hope was to share her passion for reading and the escapism of books to her students. Having spent more than a decade in front of a classroom, she can easily say that it’s been a dream. Her passion for writing didn’t start until more recently. When she was home on maternity leave in early 2012, she read her first romance novel and her head filled with the passion, angst and laughter of the characters who she read about it. It wasn’t long before characters of her own took shape in her mind. Their lives took over Melissa’s brain and The Love Series was born.
