Well, I sent one to my ex back in college and his best friend Zack found it and showed the entire fraternity. Sure, I should have known better, but I was young, stupid, and in love.

Six years later, I’m bidding on a project for my ex’s company against my nemesis, his best friend.

Now, Zack’s trying to make my life a living hell while my ex has me jumping through hoops to land this job.

A job that I need regardless of how my body reacts to Zack, but my heart may have a completely different contract in mind.

Review

This was such a fun book to read! I loved everything about it to be honest. Zack and Blake are a great couple. Here's the thing they knew each other in college but Blake didn't have her eye on him then. He was the jerk's best friend who destroyed her life. Not to ruin it, but he's not that guy. He's a sweet charming, sexy, smart and fantastic at his job. He is dedicated and determined. He has always had an attraction for Blake but fate had other plans. Blake is a great character as well. She didn't let the one thing that almost costs her college education stand in her way. Sure she has the anger but she still accomplished so much. She's up for huge promotion but big problem is that her ex is in charge of who gets it. Blake and Zack work really well together and have an amazing relationship. These two aren't perfect though. The past and the truth needs to come out. When it does, Blake sees her ex for what he is and just makes him a bigger jerk then he was before. I liked the flow of the story. It just all tied together and they got their happy ever after. Fantastic book with fun characters!

Author Bio

Renee Harless, her husband, and children live in Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.  She studied Communication, specifically Public Relations, at Radford University.

Growing up, Renee always found a way to pursue her creativity. It began by watching endless runs of White Christmas- yes even in the summer – and learning every word and dance from the movie. She could still sing Sister Sister if requested. In high school she joined the show choir and a community theatre group, The Troubadours. After marrying the man of her dreams and moving from her hometown she sought out a different artistic outlet – writing.

To say that Renee is a romance addict would be an understatement. When she isn’t chasing her toddler around the house, working her day job, or writing, she delves head first into a romance novel.
