My Review
I'm struggling between 3 and 4 stars with this one. I did enjoy the story, in the beginning I was irritated with the heroine, she seemed to be one of those whiny heroines that drive me insane, but around 25% Sydney Bristol redeemed Poppy, she became stronger than what the beginning of this book led us to believe, though the way she was written had me confused at times. How does this woman stay so giggly when she has this dominant male towering over her?
On the plus side we have a switch. Not something we see much of, usually is D/S no inbetween so getting a switch was an exciting element to the story, though there wasn't much focus on her particular needs for long.
Damian, wow uh yea, could you ask for more with this man? Hot, DEA agent, Dominant. Yea that about sums him up an I loved every bit of Damian Moana.
I want to push it to 4 stars but I just can't, while the story line keeps you interested it is lacking something, the silly aspect of Poppy is what keeps me at 3.5 stars, all in all it's a good quick read, don't expect too much romance but it is a hot story!!
