Meet Serena
Serena derives from a broken family. Her parents divorced when she was young and her mother is looking for love in all the wrong places. Aiden lost a part of his world, when his mother passed away the previous year. Unable to cope and living amongst the painful memories in their family home, Aiden and his father relocate to a new town and start over. When he starts classes in a new school and meets the captivating and beautiful, Serena, their worlds collide. They have a connection that can’t be denied, but Serena puts up a defense. Aiden has other plans and tries to win her over.

Amy's Review
I must say I usually don’t read books that are based in high school but
this book caught my attention and I continued on. Serena is a typical
high school student, has her best friend but instead of focusing on
boys, she is focused on her school work. High school is not easy for
Serena, especially after what happened to her sister, and the students
believe she’s the same way. Her life gets thrown for a loop when this
gorgeous guy walks into her Chemistry class. They start out as friends
but soon realize that they had feelings for each other. Aiden, has a
rough time, with his mom dying and starting a new school. He and Serena
are finally getting close and he fears he may lose her. Things start
falling into place and even though, and ex girlfriend tries to mess
things up, they still concur thru it. Things are going well until an
accident and there is a fear that Aiden may not make it. She is
heartbroken but it does have a happy ending. This is a very good debut
book for a new author. Lots of possibilities with this author. Can’t
wait to read more from her.
