My Review

I laughed, I cried, I may or may not have drooled over Reed on occasion, and cried some more. This one is an emotional read with real life situations we can relate to.

Kori is coming home while trying to deal with a tragic loss and get her life back together.
Her only concern about home is Reed. Reed is a reminder of heartbreak, of a past she has no need to repeat.

Reed is a grown man, no longer the kid she left behind. He's a different person and has his own reasons for what happened in their past that drove them apart.

It's hard not to give anything away, I loved Reed from the beginning, yes he made a mistake when he was 18 but he's not that lost boy anymore. Reed is a man. A man who wants to help Kori, even if she never looks at him in a romantic way again he wants to be there for her and her son.

Loved the book, can't wait for the next in the series, Kori may have been a bit whiny at times but keep reading, this book is worth it!!
