Caught Up is book 2 in the Drawn series but can be read as a standalone.
The Drawn family is completely messed up. Each one of them have been through so much making them all their own special kind of effed up.
I adore each an every one of them no matter their flaws I fell in love with this broken family.
Aaron's life was forever changed when he came home to a house full of cops and a dead wife, after serving time for her murder which he didn't commit, he's out and ruining what's left of his life.
Lucky for him there are friends and family who won't allow him to continue to drink his life away.
I loved the family stepping in to help Aaron get back on his feet, get back to his family and his children who he missed grow up while he was behind bars. They weren't pushy more guiding than forcing anything on him, but deep down he obviously wanted to make the changes or it wouldn't have been so easy.
Then comes something he never expected to happen to him again, he has a second chance to love and be loved.
There's so much I want to say about this book but I'll end up giving something away and I despise spoilers!!
Caught Up is a pretty spectacular read, full of angst, love, loss, forgiveness and learning to live and love again.
The family is not some amazingly put together group, they are all flawed or broken and that makes the reader love them even more. The way they each deal with their problems and with each other is captivating, I couldn't put this book down and read it in one day.
I can't wait to read more from this author and more of the Drawn Series.

Stone has been writing and making up stories ever since she was a little girl
and she got her Sesame Street coloring books taken away for filling them with
dirty words. She was born and raised in Upstate NY(which oddly makes her sound
like she is from Wisconsin)and has moved around all over the east coast.She
currently lives in South Central PA with her amazingly sarcastic husband and
her four incredibly entertaining children. Oh and her dog who weighs over 90
pounds, but thinks she is a Shi Tzu.
