This is one of those sweet second chance romance. Taylor and Morgan were in love back as teenagers but her dad stepped in and ended it. He wanted Morgan to be more like him and not herself. She went along with it but never forgot about Taylor. Her heart was always his. After hearing her grandma died, she goes back to the little town but finds so much more than she bargained for. What she thought was running into her love and befriending a child turned into so much more. I wasn't sure about Morgan at first, I wasn't sure she would change and stand up to her dad for herself and Taylor but she surprised me. Taylor is a remarkable man and so incredibly sweet. I hate that her dad had to be a jerk and ruin lives but when you're power hungry, you forget about the little things that really matter. Anyway, the truth comes out and both parties are able to realize that their love is strong and want to be a family. I so needed to read this book, I mean, sometimes you just a need a sweet hometown feel book and this is definitely one. This is also one of these books that helps you find yourself after being forced to play a part. It's amazing what can happen when you confront the past and move on with your life.
