Off Duty by Sawyer Bennett ~ Tim is a firefighter, a single father, musclebound and tattooed. Could he get any better? When he comes face to face with his first love things get hot quick an yea he gets even sexier.

In this short read first love gets a second chance but not without overcoming some challenges. It was nice to see two adults handle themselves as adults, neither acted like a child or a whiny twit. They used their heads an you don't see that very often in the books I've read. Great start to the Night Shift Anthology.

Rebound by Chelle Bliss ~ ANYTHING Chelle Bliss an Men of Inked related is bound to be hotter than hell and Rebound doesn't disappoint!

If you've read the Men of Inked series then you've met Flash aka Sam. He was hooked on Izzy since they were kids. Their relationship was always casual, friends with benefits though he always wanted more she pushed him away and eventually ended up with the amazing James. (yea I'm a James Caldo fan)

So Sam heads to New Orleans to get over her and ends up finding Fiona. She shows him the city through her eyes and ending up at a fortune teller Fiona insists Sam should get a reading. Now he's skeptical, this is not something he's ever believed in but by the time she's done talking to him she has pointed out so much correctly he wonders if his future truly is right in front of him. After an insanely hot night together Sam heads home only to realize he doesn't want to be there, he wants the changes the old fortune teller told him about. It's time to make some life altering decisions. To let go of the past and accept his future.

Rebound is hotter than hell, as is expected from Chelle Bliss.

Wanting to Forget by Toni Aleo ~ Jordie Thomas let the only woman he's ever loved walk out the door in tears. He decides the best way to deal is through alcohol. His friend Pierre invites him to spend his down time in New Orleans with him, lots of alcohol and willing women. Jordie figures there's no better way to get over Kacey than to get into a few random chicks so off he goes.

Okay, he's hot, he's a hockey player with a beard (sigh) and he knows it. Before we know it he's got his dick in some chicks mouth an then off to do 2 more. No matter who touched him or he touched he still saw Kacey. So once he's sober he screws yet another chick, no excusing his sleazy ways due to drugs or alcohol, nope he's sober as a judge an still manages to screw yet another chick even though Kacey is stuck in his head. Which in my opinion sucks for her, Jordie is a straight up asshole. This story doesn't have a HEA, it is to be continued. At this point I see absolutely no redeeming qualities in Jordie. He's a typical cocky prick who thinks he can have what he wants when he wants it and feelings shouldn't get in the way. If he's lucky an love truly is blind maybe Kacey will forgive him and take him back if he ever gets his shit together. 

Closet Confession by Kindle Alexander ~ Ms. Alexander gives us a hot little M/M short with a sexy doctor an a hot nurse who are sneaking around hiding their relationship. And yes they have a hot scene in a hospital closet. This is one of my favorites in the anthology so far!

Healing Touch by Brenda Rothert ~ Joss works in the same hospital as her ex an his whore. I mean girlfriend. And as all hospitals go this one is a gossip pit as well and everyone knows how she was cheated on by the two.

She's kept to herself, throwing all of her time and energy into work leaving her no time for a personal life.

Until she sees the sexy ex-military Carson who's responsible for mechanical systems on the night shift. Carson sets Joss on fire. He could be just what she needs to get back on the horse. An Carson, lord I need an electrician like him, I swear I'd blow fuses for fun. He's a bit broken as well, maybe these two can heal each other?

Swimming in Shadows by Eden Butler ~ Neil Ryan is a former Navy Seal and detective. He's returned to New Orleans trying to find answers about his mothers death. While there he runs into Evangeline, the woman he's never been able to forget.

Swimming in Shadows is a prequel to get us acquainted with Ryan and Evangeline.
