The Truth about Porn Star Boyfriends by Sunniva Dee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The Truth About Porn Star Boyfriends is yet isn't what I expected.
You get the idea from the blurb, you think you know how this will go but you really don't.
Savannah's sweet, naive really. Fresh out of a seriously messed up relationship, add to that her sexual hangup and you realize this girl could easily be railroaded.
And for quite awhile, regardless of his charm and excuses, that's how I felt Ciro was treating her.
I get his reasons for keeping his secret as long as he did BUT there were times/situations/people that should have been handled better, should have taken Savannah's feelings into consideration over and above anyone else, that's what you do when you love someone.
So I was mixed on Ciro for the majority of the book, he came on so strong in the beginning but then he seemed to simmer down a bit when he should have been fighting his hardest for her, he honestly had me questioning him a ton but thankfully he got himself together and figured out what needed done.
Savannah was sweet, I really liked her even if she did take awhile to find her backbone.
Overall I give this one 4 stars but only because connecting with Ciro took some serious work on my part, I think I wanted to punch him more often than not the first 85% of the book!
