We learn of his childhood and how and when his life changed, how he became the man he is.
This novella fills in a lot of blanks but also leaves you with the queston of what's to come.
I wanted to cry for Adan's past, his wife and child but at the same time I wanted to tell Lily to run far and fast.
I love a good villain and this quick read explains Adan's life from the beginning.
This is well written and fast paced, 4.5 stars
