Review: One Last Time

One Last Time One Last Time by Corinne Michaels
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

One Last Time is one of those books that hooks you in the first chapter, the first few pages even. I fell in love hard with Kristin. Her struggles were realistic and something so many women go through yet she was strong and despite having to depend on friends she still fought for what she needed for her kids. I loved her strength, even while being able to break down, to cry and get it out then wipe her eyes, stand up and move on for her babies.
Noah was just as easy to love, he seemed to not have a mean bone in his body. He was a pretty amazing man who happened to show up at just the right time in Kristin's life to be a part of her healing process. Patient, kind, a tad pushy but not in a bad way. Noah is everything a man should be and became another close friend she could rely on.
This book is truly an emotional journey, a woman who's lost the only life she's known and has to begin again, to learn to be a single parent who is determined to be a great parent and to be there for her children. It's a struggle but it's so worth it!
I loved this book, I truly could read it again and again (and probably will!)
