4 solid stars.
Nine short stories by authors you know and some you may not.
Three stories, Obsidian Escape, Obsidian Sky and Obsidian Desire are my favorites, all ranking 5 stars but there was also one or two shorts that just didn't quite get the job done. I understand their short stories therefore little background, while I did read them all the way through I wasn't impressed.
Overall The Obsidian Collection was worth the money, and most of the stories were intriguing and well written.
