Book Blitz
Dec 1st - Dec 7th
Lacey and Roxie have been best friends and live together in an apartment in Los Angeles. Lacey and Roxie may be best friends but over the past few years they have gotten even closer, giving each other comfort and relief when they have no other.
On Lacey's birthday Roxie decides to take her out to their favourite night club, with their two friends Ria and Paige. It's not long until the girls are drunk and having a good night. Roxie and Lacey dance on one of the mini stages, dancing like they've done many times before. They catch the attention of two men but these aren't just ordinary men, they're rock stars, looking for a good night without their rock star label.
Cole and Mason are brothers and are both in the rock band, Black Inferno. Cole is the lead singer and Mason the lead guitarist. His little brother Mason has been begging for a regular night out. Mason has never been a fan of the groupies and after parties and Cole finally takes pity on his brother and agrees to his night out. Cole realizes that he too is fed up with the after party life, the drugs and easy women are boring. While the band is in L.A they find a night club where they are sure none of their fans go and hope they can have a good night without being recognized.
It's in this night club where all four meet. Cole spots the gorgeous brunette dancing on the stage and immediately wants her. Lacey can't take her eyes from the dark and dangerous looking stranger. They all go back to the girls apartment, Cole and Mason discover just how close the best friends can be which leads to an interesting night. Lacey and Roxie have no idea that the guys are from the famous rock band, Black Inferno. To them they are just two gorgeous and tattooed men they met in the club.
Cole and Lacey find themselves drawn to each other, Lacey is scared at how fast she is falling for this new man in her life. Cole keeps his rock star profile from Lacey, he feels bad for lying but he's scared that if he tells her it could ruin what they seem to have. The truth will always come out but can Lacey handle the truth and can she forgive Cole when she finds out who Cole really is? Does her love for him make her look over his lies?
4.5 Stars
Heat is a quick, hot read. Cole and Mason are part of a rock band but are tired of groupies every night. They head to a club that's the farthest thing from rock music as possible, a place they can be Cole & Mason not rick gods.
There they meet Lacey and Roxie. Two extremely hot ladies dancing together, catching the guys attention immediately. After some flirting and a drink or two they all head to the girls place.
A night of steamy, dirty sex isn't enough for them so they stay one more night.
Never telling Lacey an Roxie what they do for a living they head back to the tour bus.
None of the four can get there time together out of their heads so it becomes a regular thing whenever the guys are working nearby.
Two months down the road Lacey & Roxie find out who the guys really are and what they do for a living. Which completely breaks Lacey. Being lied to is something it seems she can't handle, while Roxie has accepted and forgiven Mason, Lacey is struggling.
She's avoiding Cole and not taking care of herself. Can Cole repair the damage he's done to his relationship and admit his feelings?
Heat is full of heat!! It's a sweet, sexy read that ended just as I hoped it would.
"How
about we give you boys a little something?" I hear Roxie say from the
other sofa. "Hell yeah,” Mason growls. Cole looks up at me. "Let me
see that sexy body of yours Lacey." It's like I want to do anything he
wants me to. Without thinking I get up from the sofa and walk to Roxie, who is
already standing in the middle of the two sofas. She puts her arms around my
shoulders and smiles over at Cole and Mason. "Lacey and I have had many
lonely nights together." She trails her hand softly up the side of my
body. She licks my cheek and says, "I love hearing her scream." I
hear Mason groan and I laugh as Roxie slaps my bottom. I trail my finger from
her throat and down to the swell of her breasts. "You scream just as loud
Rox." "Fuck." I turn at the sound of Cole. He has his hand on
his crotch. I grab a fistful of Roxie's hair and pull it to tilt her head back.
She knows exactly what I'm doing and lets her mouth fall open. I lick across
her soft lips and then Roxie takes my mouth. We passionately kiss, just like
many times before but this time we have two very sexy men watching us. I reach
up and grab Roxie's breast, squeezing hard because I know she likes it. I feel
a body press against me from behind and I know its Cole. I see Mason turn Roxie
around just before Cole turns me to face him. He kisses me wickedly and reaches
behind me to unfasten my dress. He pulls the zipper down very slowly kissing
along my jaw as he does. His eyes burn me from the inside when he looks at me
in my black lacy underwear, then he gives me a very sexy smile. "Lacey in
lace."
What happens when
you discover the guy you’ve been seeing is a rock star? Well that's what
happened to Lacey when she met Cole; now she’s forgiven him she's agreed to go
on tour with his band.
On tour she has to cope with Cole's fame, his skanky groupies and getting to know the rest of the band.
Roxie, on the other hand, has a totally different dilemma. Not only is she quickly finding out her feelings for Lacey are a lot stronger than she thought, but she has to watch her with Cole. She’s also falling for Cole's brother, Mason, but how can she love two people? Unable to cope with everything she seeks solace in drinking; leading to some huge mistakes that she may not be forgiven for.

Ignite, book 2 in the Black Inferno series is not a stand alone, you
need to read Heat to fully understand what your walking into in Ignite.
Ignite picks up where Heat left off with Lacey & Roxie heading out on tour with the guys.
Touring brings the reality of Cole & Mason's lives front and center. From a filthy tour bus to sleazy groupies, the girls are in for a rougher ride than they thought.
Lacey expected a month on the road full of free time with Cole, what she gets is a dose of reality. Four guys and two girls with one bedroom, not exactly conducive to lots of one on one time. (Plus their getting up close an personal with not just Cole & Mason, but Tate and Booker and their living habits and groupie addictions!) And then there's the groupies. They can be quite vicious when your dating a rockbands front man, some worse than others and Lacey along with the rest of the band learn this the hard way.
While Lacey is dealing with the struggles that come with being Cole's girlfriend Roxie is dealing with her own issues.
She takes up a habit to hide the pain she's going through. It gets worse and worse until they head home and Roxie hits her breaking point.
Ignite is darker than Heat, there's so much more going on throughout the story that kept me glued to the pages until the end.
I love this series and thanks to Ignite I love all the guys, even Booker.
I love reading, it's my favourite hobby. I've always had ideas for my
own books packed into my head so I thought I would write them out for people to
enjoy
