If it can be done together they've done it.
Except for one thing.
Luke it drop dead gorgeous, he could have his choice of any willing female but he chooses to focus on other things. His work, his best friend, all on his own schedule. He hasn't had a relationship in five years. He has his reasons but keeps them to himself.
Liv is beautiful as well, she's got a great brain and body but not a great guy. She's been half in love with Luke for years but kept it locked away for fear of losing her best friend. After she's had her fill of online dating she swears off men altogether she realizes she and Luke could try sleeping together and brings it up during dinner.
Luke is caught a bit off guard, not that he doesn't want Live, she's everything he could want, but he has some preferences when it comes to sex and doesn't think she can handle them. He doesn't want to lose her over his proclivities.
After discussing they agree to give it a shot, agreeing if it doesn't work they can go back to being friends.
