Review
This was a very sweet friends to lovers book. It shows how much you need to work to accomplish your dream. Sky and Dillon have best friends since they were 9 years old. They have dreams but knew they couldn't do it in Maryland, so the first chance they got, they move to New York. Dillon has dreams of being a famous rock star. He is paying his dues and working his mediocre job. Sky,on the other hand, has been designing clothes for as long as she remembers. She has a dream of starting her own fashion line. She's also paying her dues. They refuse to see anything other then friends, so when they suddenly start dating other people, tensions are high. Dillon's gf has high expectations for him but he has to remain true to himself and keep pushing forward. Sky's bf is a true asshat. I'll let you find out for yourself on him. Anyway, I love how they finally realized their feelings and acted on them. Things aren't exactly perfect for them. My heart seriously broke for them especially at the end. I loved the way this book ended, it was a great twist and healing Dillon needed. Both characters were great and their friends were awesome as well.

Author Bio

E.M. Abel was born and raised a Marine Corps brat. She spent a large portion of her life moving and living in her mother’s home country, Japan. As a result, she gained independence and a unique perspective on the world. The youngest of three girls, E.M. Abel spent a lot of time alone in her room writing or sketching in her journals and dreaming up stories. Growing up, she wrote poems, short stories and articles for her high school newspaper. She also fell in love with art and discovered her desire for self-expression.

Now, a Navy wife with two children of her own, she still loves being creative and most of all translating her stories into novels. E.M. Abel can often be found with her headphones on jamming out to music, practicing yoga and searching for her Zen or exploring the latest place she’s calling home. No matter what she's doing in her life, she's always sure to do it her way.
