Review: Marx Girl

Marx Girl Marx Girl by T.L. Swan
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I'm one of the obvious few that this book just didn't work for.
I wanted to love Ben. I tried, honestly I did, but in the end he came across as an insensitive jerk in my opinion.
Who does whatever they want to even though they claim to love someone they left for years only pop up to ruin her life when she finally tries to move on a be happy?
Ben does.
Does he treat her like he should?
For the most part yes but he's hiding his secret and letting it once again ruin everything.
Guess he never heard if you love something set it free....
He's constantly watching her even though he left her and told her they could never be together so why does he keep interfering in her life?
Because he loves her.
Does he know what love truly is? I'm not certain he does, he has a funny way of showing it.

So while the story had potential and some of the characters were quite likeable, Ben drove me nuts with his indecisivness and inability to be a fully functioning, dependable, responsible adult.
