Review
This book was oh so good! It's action packed with two very strong characters. Dakota is my favorite by far. She had a tough start in life but it got better. She had a best friend who introduced her to the MC and things fell into place after that. She had to prove her loyalty while keeping her family safe. She takes a beating in this book but fights until the end and that includes some talk smart thinking on her part. She did what she had to do and played the game so much better. I love how much fight Dakota had, I must confess a little jealous and wished in a way I was more like her. She is a fantastic character. Ripley is one of those characters you can't help but love. All he knows is MC life but still has nightmares from the past that he needs to move on from. Dakota brings the peace that he needs and proves how much she's willing to fight for him. I loved, loved Ripley so so much! He was sweet and sensitive but tough when needed. I will say there were 2 characters I wanted to throat punch and thankfully they got theirs in the end. Ugh they were so vindictive and evil. I will definitely be looking out for book 2 of this series! Job well done with this book!!
