Review: Clash

Clash Clash by C.A. Harms
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5 stars

Peyton's childhood is a heart breaking, kick you while your down tale where the only link to normalcy is her best friend Casey's family.
She suffers in silence, afraid to tell the rest of the family who is hurting her, until the day she has no choice and everything changes.
Peyton is strong. She's determined and that is truly amazing after the years she's spent being put down and beat down. If it weren't for Casey and her family I'm not sure she'd have made it out, they are her rock, her back up and in Dylan a protector.
She's always wanted Dylan but he sees her as someone he needs to protect and that's it, it's time she gets that fantasy out of her head.
Dylan though sees the true Peyton. Not the Peyton she wants the world to see. He sees the inner strength, her refusal to give up and give in, the fight that she's always had even when she didn't know it. He also sees her as a woman, the woman for him. But can he prove to her that he wants her and only her, self perceived flaws and all?

Clash will break your heart and rebuild it. With strong characters, I love a strong heroine and even after all she's suffered, that strength is in her, a story line that keeps you glued to the pages and the ending I found myself begging for early on, Clash will take you on an emotional journey to hell and back.
