So I didn't read book 1 before this and I was fine with it. I love the Tyler and Mia's story so much. It's one of the second chance romances that has a lot of twists in it. Tyler and Mia were together during the high school, she left him for her big break. Him being heartbroken, turned into a bit of playboy. He is moving up and has made it as a partner in a law firm. Things are going great for him or so he thinks... He runs into Mia and it throws him for a loop. Fate steps in and makes them come clean with each other. This book has so much drama in it but at the same time it shows how strong their love is. The feelings were still strong after all those years. They proved how strong their bond is/was and how supportive they are of each other careers. I really enjoyed reading this book and loved all the characters in this book. I'm also thinking I should read the first book.
