“Dark, gritty and utterly captivating. I couldn’t put this book down!” - USA Today Bestselling Author, Natasha Knight
Blurb:
Sixty-four days in captivity. Sixty-four days to lose yourself—or find yourself.
I’m Ava Donovan. I was abducted at the age of nineteen. I’m told I’m a survivor, but the truth is, I only survived because he saved me. Even when he kept me locked in that room—he saved me.
Constantly wondering when and how you will die, that does something to you. To your mind. But what do you do when it does something to your heart? What do you do when the man holding you captive seems just as broken as you are, when his mere presence becomes a comfort you crave—when you love him even though you shouldn’t?
You smile and tell yourself it’s okay because love has no morals.
Sixty-four days in captivity gave me a love most people will never have and my freedom took it all away.

Review:
So I don't normally read dark reads unless it's something I can handle.
This one intrigued me. While I enjoyed the story, I was expecting
more then what I got. I thought they somewhat babied Ava. If I ever get
kidnapped I want them to do it like this book. Free clothes, Olive
Garden and a nice relaxing bath. I know Max's job is get the girls to
love him,so it's easier to transport them but he's kinda weenie for a
murderer. Also there wasn't a whole lot of fight from Ava but I guess
if I was treated to all the goodies that she was I wouldn't fight
either. I guess I was just expecting something a whole lot darker and
more graphic. This was a good book but I just expected more from it."Life
shapes and molds a person, and once something has been chipped out of
your soul, you can't put it back. And maybe that's why I love him so
much, he was there when I broke, he understands because he has monsters
that my demons can play with, and the thing is, the person I am on the
inside-she can't play with angels because heaven and hell don't mix."
